South Sudan RE

Hi and welcome back to my week 11 blog post

This week in RE were are talking about south Sudan, It is very sad they had to live with conflict,
there is also other countries that have conflict like

South Sudan

Iraq

Somali

Sudan

central Africa

Pakistan

North Korea

There's plenty more counties that are going through conflict!
I think it is very sad that family are living like that,conflict is affecting many families and people
in south Sudan and other countries, when people moved to south Sudan they had nothing they had
no home nothing they had to start from scratch,
they had to make their homes, It it very sad to think of!

What i learnt about reading and watching videos about south Sudan is-

To be grateful cause you never know what other people are going through,
and to pray for people facing conflict.

Hi and welcome back to another blog post

This week I will be talking about the St Francis of Assisi school values. The values are Respect, Integrity, Compassion and Service. I can show service at school by helping people if the don't get the work and try to explain it to them so they are no longer confused. I can show service at home by helping around the house without being told. I can show Integrity at school by seeing someone who's lonely and asking them to play with me and my friends. I can show Integrity at home by cleaning my room and walking the dog. I can show respect at school by picking up rubbish. I can show respect at home by doing what my parents say and showing respect for the things I have and being respectful with them. I can show Compassion at school by staying on task and being organised. I can show Compassion at home by valuing my family and my pets.

In the past week we have been making t-shirts based on kindness and greatness. This is how we made them. We made them on a google drawing and add a picture of a t-shirt and then our own designs and then the teachers would choose the winner and then they got to get it printed on to a t-shirt.

Cricket Tournament!!!

Hi guys welcome back to another blog post

Last week on Thursday we had a girls cricket team who played on Thursday and Friday. We played three games on Thursday and the cricket got cancelled on Friday because of the bad weather. I liked batting because I like getting runs for the team. Over all I loved the games and it was fun.

Hi and welcome back to another blog post

Every Monday in the afternoon after lunch the Kaupeka hub goes to tech there are three year 7 groups and three year 8 groups we have been doing tech at Linwood high school.There is plastics, food, woodwork and fabrics. Each term we change groups so we each get a turn at things, I really like plastics because its fun and I enjoy making key rings for my bag and I am really looking forward to doing the other things as well.

swimming lessons

Hi and welcome back to another blog post.

Last week in the kaupeka hub we did swimming lessons at QEII. Each class had buddy's as my buddys I had my friend Maia and a little buddy called Chloe. On the first week we did normal swimming lessons then the second week we did boat and river safety. On Wednesday we did life jackets on Thursday we did boat safety and on Friday we had to wear our PJ's in the pool.

Hi and welcome back to my blog

In week 4 we had swimming sport at jelly park. The lengths we could compete in were 25m or 50m. The styles we could compete in were freestyle, backstroke or breaststroke. I competed in freestyle and backstroke 50m I came 4th in both races.
